In keeping with yesterday’s trans-Tasman theme I decided to spotlight a fruit that is often mistakenly labelled as kiwi. It is in fact the humble Chinese Gooseberry or Kiwifruit. How such different cultures were confused I’ll never know. At one point they tried to rename them Zespris. Not the answer at all. But with a splash of vodka even a Zespri could taste good.
