I just wrote a whole story that was completely brilliant about vests and transseasonal dressing - how it is hideous, we all hate it, our last winter clothes are musty and rusty and it was insightful and funny. Then it disappeared. Someone tripped on the server cable and I had to start again. Well I'm not. I can't be bothered. Just like I can't be bothered washing woollens or brushing my hair.

Of these three Joseph was the lucky one. Not being that strong in Religious Studies I can only say this from one angle - a fashion angle. For Joseph got the technicolour dreamcoat didn't he? Do you think it was really magical? Or perhaps it is just a song and didn't really exist. Disappointing unless this bag has magical powers too, which I suspect it might.

I have been looking for a dress to wear to a wedding. While looking I have had a very important insight into my personality, thus: I am never comepletely satisfied. With the dress comes the shoes. Then the necklace to balance it out. Then the haircut to make sure the dress is respected. You see, it's a spiral of shame. The only way to avoid circling this drain is to go nude. D'ya think they'd mind?

As a part of the 2010 L'Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival,
e.g.etal will be presenting FIGMENT,an exhibition showing works of seven contemporary jewellery designers. They were asked to draw from memories and mythology to create their pieces. Had I been invited I might have made a PB & J sandwich with the crusts cut off. Luckily these artists are a whole lot more talented than me.

About seven years ago I walked into little shop called Hudson. It was like slipping through a wormhole and ending up in downtown Tokyo. Chocolate calculators, cat cameras in a can, technicolour elephant purses ... Anyway, after putting Balaclava on the shopping map, owner Nikki has decided to shut up shop and buy a one way ticket around the world. Last day is tomorrow so drop in for champagne, cupcakes and 60% off all the stuff she can't fit in her bag.
