French for beginners: She doesn’t ‘window-shop’ in France, she ‘window-licks’. For example: I went night-strolling in the Marais and window-licked an Absinthe shop. I was instantly driven insane and tormentedly artistic. In French we say: “Elle est un artiste. Donnez-lui un appartement sur la rive gauche”. (“She is an artist. Give her an apartment on the Left bank.”)
Simple, non?
