It's not often you find a gem in Murrembeena, it has to be said. But sometimes life just throws you a curly one doesn't it? May I introduce The Collector. A giant shed in downtown Murrembeena, packed to the rafters full of treasures. Granted, trash to some, but not to me.
Here you will find ceramics, paintings, badges, footy junk, jewellery, books, posters, advertising signs - it's inexhaustible. There is an auction at 6pm every Thursday night for which you can bid via email, or you can turn up to the shed and sift through the chaos yourself. One thing's for sure, there will be no mistaking whoever wins these Mary Quants.
