Powell and Pressburger changed my life with The Red Shoes. This once clumsy, graceless girl was inspired to go to endless ballet classes and dedicated every Saturday morning to buns and tights. Sadly without tight buns these days I have all but lost my ballerina stance. And I don't even own any red shoes. Can a girl can still dream, even at my age?
