My first taxidermy experience in NY involved lugging a white tail deer’s head home on the subway, in a plastic garbage bag. Being days away from Christmas, every child I passed burst into tears. Even feeling like a modern day Grinch can’t stop me from loving all things dead and stuffed, including the pretty feathered and furred beasts frozen in time at Evolution.
