‘Five thousand people die in earthquake’ doesn’t seem so bad when printed in a zany typeface. Well that was my rationale when trying to launch a new website last year called ‘The News In Comic Sans’. Unfortunately I couldn’t find anyone else to share my vision. Maybe I should have taken a lead from these coasters and chosen the more serious Baskerville semi-bold instead? It really does respect authority don’t you think?
