In an ideal world I’d be wearing bed socks today. Those ones that have sheepskin on the inside and are knitted on the outside. You know, the ones your aunt got you in NZ when you were six? They tied around your ankle and by morning your feet were blue and about to drop off like a sheep with a band around its tail? Anyway, I digress. Soft they were, and warm, and that’s the point. And they didn’t have have a very high wooden heel which I could do without right now. Oh please, can’t I just go to bed?
