5 sleeps until Paris winter hits me hard in the face like a lion on a porterhouse. After much begging from friends I have borrowed many warm jumpers and thermals. I am still afraid of looking like a loser, but at least now my fear of the cold has abated. And the fear of looking like those dumb girls who get around in short shorts in winter when you know they are secretly freezing has also left me. Still, I am as anxious as if being stalked by said lion. Oh my.
