You don’t see enough patches these days. Back in my day when a girl got a hole in her cardi she’d simply patch it up. Or if she lost her eye in a stick fight, she’d simply cover it up with a lovely eye patch. Not any more though, today it’s all about fancy prosthetics and what not.
