I recently went to a very swanky cocktail party. I agonised over what to wear and in the end decided new shoes were in order. Breaking with tradition I bought extremely high heels, thinking perhaps it was time to put the flats to bed and grow up, at least in the vertical sense (if not the maturity stakes). Turned out it was a very bad idea and rather than breaking tradition I almost broke my neck. Back to the ground I go. Good luck walking in these stilts you ambitious amazons.
