In case you just crawled out from under a rock, it is the State of Design Festival this week. As part of that, I went along to the opening of Design Made Trade the other night, along with every crafter and hipster in Melbourne. Along with the who’s who of our designers in this fair Melbourne town, we were regaled with the too-cool-for-school Bodyelectric Dancers, or, as a friend of mine described them, ‘a bunch of skipping architects and designers’. I did see some pretty things too, like Ingrid Tufts stunning ceramics.
