Winter is here and I know we all want a new coat, so spare a thought for those who would be happy with any old one. A lovely group of 6 kind souls have got off their arses and, without a thought to religion or profit, organised to spread some warmth this winter by collecting coats for those who need them most.
It’s an especially nasty time of year to be without a roof let alone a heater, and with approximately 2900 children homeless in Victoria on any given night it’s important to do what you can.
So go through your closet, grab that old winter coat and get it to someone who will use it. The St Kilda Crises Centre will deliver them, all you need to do is drop them off. It’ll make you feel warm too.
