I am here to tell you that rose is having a renaissance. I know ‘they’ have been talking it up for ages but this time I think it’s true. The experts will tell you about spicy dark plum and black cherry flavours, its sweet finish and light-bodied yet lingering flavour. Ah, what do they know? It’s the pretty pink that did it for me. And the pretty label. My friends and I managed to do a number on a fair bit of this Duck rose last week and boy, was it easy. Oh, and a lovely lifted acid in the finish too.
