While I should be jumping for joy about tomorrow’s public holiday, I can’t help thinking about an Australia Day BBQ I went to a few years ago where the host served up kangaroo kebabs. Also known as ‘skippy sticks’. It wasn’t the gamey meat so much that turned me off, it was the fact he served them up with the actual stunt paws used on Skippy. ‘What’s that Skip, you know the guy on that brooch?’
