There are two reasons why people wear scarfs.
1. To stay warm.
2. To hide something, such as a dodgy fake tan line around your neck that the lady at the spray tan place told you would go away after a shower but never did, so you ended up having to wear a scarf for the first few days of your annual Winter holiday in Noosa because you couldn’t bare people knowing that you’d resorted to wearing fake tan to blend in with the locals. Not me of course, a friend.
