When my sister was a baby she used to eat the gravel from our driveway. I was not born yet so I can’t tell you first-hand how disgusting, but the way my (possibly exaggerating a lot) mum tells it, her nappies were so heavy with pebbles that she could no longer stand up. makes me wish I was the oldest daughter just to have witnessed that, sounds hilarious. Imagine if she spied these lolly-lookalike pins? She’d have never learned to walk.
