When a friend said there was a roach waiting for me in the kitchen this morning I thought ‘it’s bit early, maan’ – it was only 9am. Usually that kind of activity of strictly for after hours (and of course not for me, I don’t inhale). So it was with great surprise that I saw a dirty great cockroach running across my kitchen floor. What with that and thunderstorms it’s proof to me that the tropics are spreading south, bloody global warming. Enough to make you want to move to Nimbin. Man.
