I hate you, Susan Purdy. When I take a bad photograph, I can’t blame my camera any more. Why? Because you, Susan Purdy, you took these beautiful photographs of southern Chinese botanical specimens and you didn’t even need to use a camera. You think you’re oh so clever, just slapping the plants down on photographic paper then exposing them to light. Damn you and your talent. Damn you to hell.
