Melissa Gilbert has made a life out of being Laura Ingalls. Since the Little House ceased filming she’s written a book, played the mother in a play and two musicals. Inspired by her tenacity I have written my own screenplay, Michi the Magnificant Maiden. In it I am surrounded by beautiful cushions I can’t afford in real life. The musical version will be coming out next year and features covetable doona covers instead.
