Melbourne without live music would be like Jamaica without a rum festival. It would be a tragedy, maan. Lucky for us the good people at SLAM are taking a flatbed truck (with a bunch of musicians on the back playing ‘long way to the top’) to the steps of parliament next Tuesday to help save our live music scene. If you don’t come I’ll never be able to start my Jamaican band. And you wouldn’t want that on your conscious, would you?
