If, like me, you were a child of the 70s you might have the odd flashback to your mum enduring a black coffee and green apple diet and watching DOOL with all the curtains drawn against the suburban summer with a couple of Vegemite Vitawheats on their plates. Not exactly Valley of the Dolls, but it does come close to The Ice Storm, yet I don’t remember the booze, valium and key parties. Still there is a warm nostalgic glow over those years that makes me ever so fond of this Eley Kishimoto dress … I can see mum now, blue eye shadow poised over an unsuspecting eyelid.
