No, I haven’t had too much sun. These are actually the fancy new earrings I bought to wear out to dinner tonight to the even fancier Pacific Dining Room for my last night in Byron. Fortunately not everyone is so frivolous with their time and money; enter the Fancy Stitch Exhibition, which is currently displaying over fifty pieces of hand-embroidered textiles from South Africa. Not only is this a great chance to view some amazing pieces, but you’ll also be supporting families affected by HIV and AIDS in Africa. Fancy, yes. Frivolous (like me), no.
