Apart from maybe that way too popular gelato joint, Acland Street has well and truly gone down the toilet. I don’t know, maybe we do need 6 chemists and 75 juice bars in one street?
Luckily for us the surrounding streets haven’t been fully infected (yet), otherwise we wouldn’t have nice shops like Crunch. If you haven’t been yet, it’s stocked up with one-off bags, belts and cuffs you won’t find on the main drag. Just don’t tell the caramel latte-drinking girls at Gloria Jeans.
