The last time I tried to make something from a milk container I made a paper maché ant for my mum that ended up stinking out the house. The mystery of the smell went for months with exterminators called and Peter the Possum Man in the roof looking for the source. How was I supposed to know it should have been washed before being used for my art? I was only 10. Liana Kabel is a genius compared to my family. She uses her milk containers, shampoo bottles and old tupperware for much prettier things, and a lot less rancid too one hopes.
