Read more →]]> My Sydney friends tease me about my affection for pools when I live in a city that is in endless supply of gorgeous beaches. Maybe it’s London residue or my Melbourne roots but I don’t mind the occasional dip in a pool on a so-so windy day that’s not worthy a bus trip to the beach. I’ve developed an affinity for one pool in particular – the Andrew ‘Boy’ Charlton pool – which is nestled on the side of the Domain and looks out over Woolloomooloo Bay. Open from 6am till 8pm, it has a 50m saltwater pool (and a learners pool for the little ones) and in the league of concrete bound bodies of water is quite pretty. Don’t knock it till you try it beach babes! Until then you’ll find me reading on the sun lounges between swims.
